TOTUS TUUS, MARIA !

BROOKLETS INFO

Myriam van Nazareth

Dear sisters and brothers in Jesus and Mary,

In Her teachings the Mother of God points out that the first duty of each human soul consists herein, that the latter should take care of creation and protect it in her capacity as a representative of God towards creation.

This means the human soul is to look after God’s creation – both the environment and the animal kingdom – in the same way as God Himself would, i.e. with unselfish Love and with the utmost care. In concrete terms this is tantamount to exercising a type of care focused on the needs of creation as a whole, instead of giving priority to the satisfaction of one’s own material needs and needs for excitement.

This duty consists of many different elements, one of those elements being the fact the human soul should be perfectly aware of the havoc that is wreaked by fireworks on the animals as well as on environment.

In obedience to the appeal made by the Queen of Heaven the Maria Domina Animarum Work draws your attention to the following link:

In the book entitled The Brooklets of Salvation, the English translation of which could not be completed as yet, section 5.3.6 (one of the sections remaining to be translated) deals with threatening animals in their natural habitat, among others through fireworks. We present an excerpt from a letter of reply, in which Myriam wrote upon the Heavenly Mistress’ inspiration: "Fireworks are a form of animal abuse. May the souls keep in mind that in the immediate vicinity of every fireworks usually hundreds, if not thousands, of animals are directly affected by the infernal noise and the unnatural luminous phenomena, which exercise a frightening effect on them. Let us think first and foremost of domestic animals, woodland and garden birds, small wild animals and animals living in meadows, prairies and on agricultural estates of any kind.
We must not forget that animals, too, are creatures of God, and that they tend to be much more sensitive than many human souls as to that which is compatible with God’s Law, and which is not".

In conclusion the Queen of Heaven has us refer to the menu item entitled God and the animals, which came about by Her order in the course of the Lenten season of 2020, and which She Herself refers to as a major glorification to the Law of Divine Love.
