TOTUS TUUS, MARIA !

THE SEED OF REDEMPTION

Teaching by the Holy Virgin Mary to the souls

with reference to prayer 1274 –
prayer of complete surrender to the crucified Jesus

Myriam van Nazareth

On Good Friday 2013 the Mistress of all souls and Jesus gave Myriam prayer nr. 1274, along with the promise that the souls would receive an extensive explanation later, so as to be able to make full use of the unique richness contained in the prayer. Today I have got the opportunity to sow the said teaching by the Queen of Heaven into the garden of your soul. In obedience to the Mistress of our souls I will once again present the invitation and the prayer first published on Good Friday 2013. The extraordinarily valuable teaching by the Queen of Heaven will follow after the prayer.

In the Holy Week of 2019 the Queen of Heaven requested the insertion of a new Revelation as an introduction to the inspiration from 2013. This Revelation is rendered here, followed by the original text.

Revelation by the Mistress of all souls to Myriam, Wednesday of the Holy Week, April 17, 2019, with reference to prayer flower nr. 1274.

"In My capacity as the One chosen by God as the Commander of the forces of the Light in their war waged against the darkness it is also part of My mission to help see to it that the balance within the network of creation is maintained. As such I grant to those who have linked themselves up with Me by virtue of the holy covenant of total consecration to Me, inner guidance as to those actions which at any specific point of time are likely to be the most fruitful or, on the contrary, the most harmful in preparation for the final Triumph of the Woman (Mary) over Satan and his works of darkness. I can render this inner guidance in a soul actually effective to the extent in which her heart is truly totally and unconditionally oriented towards Me and thereby towards the accomplishment of God’s Works and Plans. Against this background I tell you:

On Good Friday 2013 I gave you the extraordinarily powerful prayer nr. 1274 and then instructed you to announce that the soul who offers this prayer to Me and Jesus 33 times in a row on Holy Friday and/or on Holy Saturday can obtain for herself major graces of purification and forgiveness.

I want to point out most emphatically that the extraordinary power of this prayer is owing to the fact it touches the very core of Our United Hearts and appeals to the inexhaustible merits gained by the Christ’s Works of Redemption. If it is addressed to Us from a heart that is driven by the fire of true Love and sincere remorse it will kindle in Our Hearts a regular fire and release tremendous streams of graces, streams of burning lava from the volcano of God’s Heart. God tends to deluge those who sincerely love Him.

Let Me express it in terms of a Divine Law: Wherever a truly loving heart concludes marriage with the Furnace of God’s Heart the volcano of graces becomes active so as to fill valleys with streams of burning lava, which makes the soil very fertile for the bloom of celestial flowers. Do realize that the fruits of Divine Love are so lavish that they can only be put to use by hearts that are active bearers of the strength of true Love owing to the fact they have been incorporating it into their very being very intensively for a long time.

Therefore I invite the souls intending to use the extraordinarily powerful prayer nr. 1274 that they should by all means do so from a disposition of sincere true Love and remorse and in close unity of hearts with the suffering Jesus".

Good Friday 2013 – Special invitation

TOTUS TUUS, MARIA !

During contemplation for Good Friday, Mary speaks the following words:

MARY: "Behold the crucified Jesus. From the top of the mountain of sins I give you this prayer, which was invested with extraordinary graces by the Divine Redeemer.

The soul who consecrates herself to Me, who lives this consecration with all her heart and soul, and who regularly gives this prayer to Jesus through Me, will obtain a thorough purification and an all-embracing liberation of the traces of all sins and mistakes of her entire life.

Extraordinary graces are bestowed on the soul who

says this prayer 33 times on Good Friday.

It can also be prayed fruitfully for the conversion of a fellow person".

Subsequently, as I am saying the prayer 33 times to Jesus, the Redeemer speaks the following words:

JESUS: "Regard this prayer as the most powerful prayer My and your Mother and your Mistress has ever given you. Your Mistress is soon going to give you a teaching in which the unique richness of this prayer will be expounded for the souls’ benefit. In your heart you have already received a complete understanding of the extraordinary meaning of it. You will subsequently distribute this prayer along with the matching teaching. It bears exceptional blessings and is invested with a unique power towards the accomplishment of Our Plan of Salvation for the souls.

The soul who

brings the prayer before Me 33 times on Holy Saturday

in a rock-solid belief in My Mother as the Co-Redemptrix of souls,

will be granted the same graces as on Good Friday".

On Holy Saturday 2016 the Queen of Heaven said to Myriam: "I point out that My Flower 1274 is also suitable to be prayed 33 times in the presence and for the benefit of a dying person. On such occasion the person(s) saying it shall do so explicitly on behalf of the dying person, if the latter is unable to actively take part in the praying".

1274. PRAYER OF COMPLETE SURRENDER TO THE CRUCIFIED JESUS

(Myriam van Nazareth)

Jesus Christ, Messiah from God, Redeemer of souls,
Through the immaculate Love of Mary, Your and my Sorrowful Mother and Co-Redemptrix of souls:

  • I entrust all mistakes, omissions, violations and moments of lack of Love of my entire life to the purifying action of Your Holy Blood,
  • I entrust all wounds and all sufferings of my entire life to the healing action of Your Holy Wounds, and
  • I entrust everything likely to prevent my entry into Eternal Bliss in Heaven to Your Holy Cross.

Oh Jesus, at the foot of the Cross I want to forgive all souls who have ever done me wrong. Do forgive me, kindle within me a lifelong unconditional Love, and grant me the experience of my lasting rebirth of Mary.

THE SEED OF REDEMPTION

Teaching with reference to the consecration on Good Friday

With Her extraordinary teachings bundled as the Science of Divine Life the Mistress of all souls pursues the purpose of shaping the souls in such a way as to enable them in the most efficient way to truly help in making the fruits of Redemption, obtained for them by Jesus on the Cross, accessible to them. For each and every aspect of spiritual bloom God requests for the soul’s active collaboration: If God should automatically bring all His graces to full bloom in each individual soul, all of His benefactions would be forced on the soul, and the latter would therefore not have any merits to show.

Each soul is sent into the world for the purpose of making the contribution she is expected to make to help accomplish God’s Plan of Salvation for all creation. To that end the soul is supposed to lead a life that is fruitful within the framework of God’s Law. This means the soul, through her inner dispositions, acts, words, thoughts, feelings and aspirations, is to live as faithfully as possible in accordance with all that is prevalent in God’s Heart and that has the potential to help accomplish His great Plan of Salvation. For herself, the soul reaps the fruits of Redemption through leading a fruitful life.

On account of the original sin every soul was denied access to Eternal Bliss. This is why God sent His Messiah, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, into the world in order to sanctify all trials associated with human life in a physical body, and to obtain for these trials their full power of Redemption. Indeed, it is expected of each human soul that she should deal with all the trials of life in a virtuous way. In concrete terms, 'dealing with trials in a virtuous way' means 'aiming at perfecting true Love', i.e.: dealing with every situation of life in such a way that the soul’s dispositions at heart during any specific experience should serve God’s Plan. The human soul needed the example of the suffering Christ in order to help reshape herself under the influence of grace, so as to be able to lead a life that has got the potential of contributing to the Redemption of both herself and all mankind.

This is exactly what the Mistress of all souls is trying to make possible: to mold, knead and transform souls in such a way that the latter are enabled to develop the motivation, the will and the ability to bring the seed that Jesus sowed into mankind from the Cross, to bloom within herself. 'Redemption' is not a gift which is passively accomplished, it is Heavenly seed that contains everything God has provided for the soul’s Eternal Salvation, but from which the Heavenly flowers will spring only to the extent to which the soil into which the seed was cast, helps to make itself receptive and fruitful. To God, this is the first condition to be fulfilled at all times: The soul is to make her free will merge completely with God’s Will. This unity is what God uses as a foundation for preparing all His miracles.

The seed of Redemption is a goldmine of graces, which are the bearers of nothing less than the key to Eternal Bliss. This seed is a gift from God, and as such it is perfect and invariable. The weak link in the accomplishment of Redemption is the human soul, which has become imperfect and unsteady due to the original sin. In few words, in Her Good Friday inspiration the Mistress of all souls has managed to define the way to a growing fruitfulness as follows:

The soul who consecrates herself to Me, who lives this consecration with all her heart and soul, and who regularly gives this prayer to Jesus through Me, will obtain a thorough purification and an all-embracing liberation of the traces of all sins and mistakes of her entire life.

Consecration is an extraordinary phenomenon. God fathered the consecration to Mary, the 'King’s Daughter' and Mother of the Messiah, as the most fruitful and the most efficient path towards a life that is really fruitful with a view to the accomplishment of His Plan of Salvation. Consecration is the covenant through which the soul voluntarily puts herself at the service of God’s Plan of Salvation with all situations of her life and with everything living inside of her and everything emanating from her. In so doing, the soul confirms by her own free will God’s wish and the purpose of her own life: She is in the world for the sole purpose of contributing to the accomplishment of God’s Plan of Salvation. God has called upon every soul to fulfill this sole purpose. However, by consecrating herself voluntarily the soul confirms to God that she intends to fully satisfy this Divine wish.

Provided the consecration to God’s Plan of Salvation is experienced and applied wholeheartedly and with Love, and that it is constantly nourished by a conscious aiming for the accomplishment of God’s Plan with creation (i.e. the establishment of God’s Kingdom on earth), this consecration gets its supreme value if the soul performs it through a constant act of total self-sacrifice to Mary. The Mother of God is pre-eminently the example of perfect fruitfulness for God’s Plan of Salvation, on account of the absolutely holy life she led. On top of this, God chose Her as the Commander of the forces of Light in the constant battle against the darkness. By virtue of a Divine Promise this battle is to end in the final victory of God’s Love and Light over all sin and darkness, and therefore in the establishment of God’s Kingdom on earth. However, it is expected of each soul that she should actively collaborate towards achieving this goal in all situations of her life, by applying herself for this victory and for the humiliation and weakening of all darkness in her own heart and in the world as a whole.

Mary’s mission consists herein, that She should guide every step of the soul that surrenders to Her completely by putting herself completely at Her service, and that She should avail Herself of every single opportunity to 'remodel' this soul completely, meaning that She tries to clothe this soul’s good will and all her efforts with the effects of grace, the necessary inspirations, and guidance as to teaching this soul to become a valuable element in the eternal struggle against the darkness and in favour of the victory of the Light.

To the soul that consecrates herself to Her totally, unconditionally and eternally and that lives this consecration actively, the Queen of Heaven promises the soul a thorough purification and a complete deliverance from the traces of all sins and mistakes of her entire life. A consecration to Mary which is experienced intensely purifies the soul in that this way of life can make the soul increasingly similar to Mary, the perfectly holy soul. To put it briefly, purity of the soul can be regarded as the extent to which she is a mirror of God’s 'dispositions'. The mirror of the soul is better able to receive God’s Light and passing it on in proportion as the soul is free of the stains of sin and vice. The depth of the soul’s purification is determined by the extent to which the soul is delivered from the traces of all sins and vices of her entire life. The soul can obtain this mainly through the Sacrament of Confession, through a life led in a disposition of attentively experienced consecration, and through the soul’s aspiring to perform all actions of her life on the basis of true Love, in other words: based on a constant endeavour to promote the well-being of her fellow creatures and to promote God’s Plans and Works.

Jesus was sent into the world to prepare the seed of Redemption, which every single soul is to try and make bloom through a voluntary confirmation of this Divine Gift. God has provided for the holiest of all human souls of all times, Mary, the Mother of the Saviour, to represent mankind in a perfect surrender of the entire journey through life to the Plan of Redemption for the benefit of all human souls. She was equipped for this extraordinary mission with the ability to perceive, on a mystical level, all sufferings of the bodies, minds, hearts and souls of all creatures to the extent to which God granted Her this perception in any concrete situation of Her life with a view to the fulfillment of His Plans. This ability was fully active within as regards all trials and sufferings of Her Divine Son during His whole life on earth. Speaking very concretely this means the Mother of God felt all Sufferings of Jesus in Her entire Being, without displaying any external sign to testify of this ability. She processed all of this in Her Heart and soul, and in an invisible way in Her body, which experienced infinite sufferings nobody ever knew about.

To God it is of the utmost importance that the human souls should be aware and believe that Mary is in the deepest sense of the word the Co-Redemptrix of mankind, and that they should realize how important it is with a view to the accomplishment of the final victory of the Light over the darkness that the Mother of God should bear the title of 'Co-Redemptrix'. Redemption could begin only because of Mary’s agreeing to become the Mother of the Man-God. In His invitation extended on Good Friday 2013 Jesus emphasizes God’s wish in this respect by promising the souls extraordinary graces to the extent to which they say prayer nr. 1274 on Holy Saturday, 33 consecutive times, "in a rock-solid belief in My Mother as the Co-Redemptrix of souls".

The Saviour refers to prayer nr. 1274 – the Prayer of complete surrender to the crucified Jesus – as "the most powerful prayer My and your Mother and your Mistress has ever given you". This should already reveal the immense value of total surrender to the crucified Saviour for the soul’s fruitfulness within the framework of God’s Plan of Salvation. God’s Plan of Salvation can only be accomplished to the extent to which as many souls as possible collaborate actively towards their Redemption.

This prayer is essentially a consecration of the soul’s entire life to God, on the basis of a perfect faith in Jesus’ and Mary’s true capacities, as appears from the initial words:
Jesus Christ, Messiah from God, Redeemer of souls, Through the immaculate Love of Mary, Your and my Sorrowful Mother and Co-Redemptrix of souls (...)

The soul can only be redeemed insofar as she believes that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, sent into the world by God for the purpose of casting the seed of Redemption into the souls. Every soul has got to bring this seed into blossom within herself, by putting her life voluntarily at the service of God’s Plans and Works. If she does not firmly believe that Jesus is the Saviour, she does not believe in the Divine origin of the Work of Redemption either, nor in the fact that God has decreed that suffering, if borne in surrender and Love, is able to compensate the darkness and is eventually going to defeat it. Every lack of faith in all of this prevents the soul from receiving the seed of Redemption.

The Channel that has inspired this prayer (Mary), and thereby also the Source from which it springs (God’s Spirit), with which, by virtue of a Divine Mystery, the Channel is perfectly united, emphatically invite the soul to found her consecration also on a faith in Mary as the Mother of Sorrows and the Co-Redemptrix, in other words: on faith in the power of these capacities to help accomplish the soul’s Redemption. Moreover the soul consecrates herself to the crucified Saviour through Mary’s immaculate Love. Through this formula the soul allows her consecration to flow towards the Saviour through the filter of the absolutely perfect Love of Mary, who is without sin and who, in point of fact, on account of Her Immaculate Conception, had received an advance Redemption already before Her life on earth began. Everything which flows towards God – i.e.: everything which is offered to Him – through the Heart of Mary, reaches His Heart in a perfectly cleaned state and, in a manner of speaking, sprinkled with the perfume of perfect sanctity. Let us remember the fact the Mistress of all souls defines 'sanctity' as 'possessing the ability of bringing Salvation upon creation'. Eventually, this is the sole purpose of all consecration.

Based on the soul’s confession of her faith that Jesus is the Messiah and Saviour, that Mary is the Mother of Sorrows and Co-Redemptrix, and that any act of consecration is sanctified (i.e.: receives its full power and fruitfulness within God’s Plan of Salvation) if it is brought forward through the incarnated Immaculate Love (i.e. perfect, true, unselfish and unstained Love), she now entrusts three major things to the three great Factors of Redemption:

1. The soul entrusts all mistakes, omissions, violations and moments of lack of Love of her entire life to the purifying action of the Holy Blood of Christ.

The Holy Blood of Christ is the Factor which clothes all things with Divine Life. In a body, blood is the bearer of the nutrients and oxygen, as well as of everything which must be removed from the tissues because it has the potential of causing damage. On the spiritual level we may regard the Blood of Christ (the Man-God!) as the bearer of the nutrients and oxygen every soul needs for her bloom, and… of the 'waste matter' – the traces of sin and vice – threatening her Salvation. This is exactly why, through this extraordinarily powerful prayer, the soul entrusts to the Blood of Christ everything through which she has been deviating from God’s Law through her own inner dispositions and all her doings. This Blood has flowed as a sign denoting the fact that God wanted to drown all darkness in the absolutely perfect bearer of Divine Life. During His Sufferings Jesus let Divine Life flow constantly to sinful mankind. If the soul immerses her own faults, omissions, violations and moments characterized by a lack of Love in the Holy Blood of Christ in deep faith and Love, she thereby expresses the wish:

  • that all darkness she has been guilty of in her life, may be compensated by the sanctifying effects of the Redeemer’s Sufferings, and
  • that all this darkness in her may be replaced by Divine Life.

The absolute necessity of a consecration of all spiritual debts the soul has been actively accumulating throughout her life on earth, lies in the fact no soul is able to live with God after this life as long as she is not completely delivered from all the darkness she has helped bring upon creation through her own behaviour and dispositions. The deliverance from this darkness is what we refer to as 'reconciling oneself with God'. This can be done through sacramental Confession, but while awaiting Confession it can be prepared by consecration, in that through consecration the soul already confesses to God her debts actively, consciously and voluntarily, and that in so doing she shows to Him her desire to reconcile with Him completely. Moreover consecration is able to help the soul compensate the effects of her deplorable behaviour and dispositions in that these traces of darkness are deliberately entrusted to the Light. Thus the soul obtains that her spiritual debts no longer serve the darkness and no longer exert a detrimental influence upon the state of grace of mankind as a whole, but on the contrary are turned into active contributors to God’s Plan of Salvation and are thereby used against the darkness, so to speak. This is made possible by the fact sincere consecration is always a fruit of true Love.

Every soul not only suffers by the darkness she generates herself or to which she contributes, she is also a bearer of treasures, which she usually fails to recognize as such and of which she often fails to see the value for her own Redemption. Due to the usual worldly way of looking at things many burdens of everyday life are usually regarded or perceived as darkness, whereas, on the contrary, through consecration they can be converted into much Light for the soul’s Eternal Life:

2. The soul entrusts all wounds and all sufferings of her entire life to the healing action of the Holy Wounds of Christ.

All wounds and pains of life are the trials and the spiritual, moral, emotional, psychological and physical sufferings, all illnesses, all setbacks, all heartaches, any form of inner torment, all moments which, in the soul’s memory, are covered with darkness or clouds, so to speak. It is exactly these experiences which may make the soul merge with the suffering Christ and complement within her "everything that is still lacking in the Sufferings of Christ", in other words: the experiences which enable the soul to bring the redeeming Works of Christ in her own life to fruition. In order for this to happen, all trials must be borne in dispositions which resemble those of the Suffering Christ Himself as much as possible. In this respect the Mistress of all souls refers to The Harvest of Eternal Love, among other writings (this book has not been translated into English as yet).

All trials of life can be symbolized by the Wounds of Christ. Wounds are lesions inflicted upon a body by influences threatening the latter’s integrity and health. Something similar can happen in the soul. If the trials of life are not borne in the right frame of heart – meaning: lacking acceptance and true Love – they can harm the soul. A tried soul who fails to muster up the necessary Love and fails to believe in the deep sense and value of her trials, makes herself unfruitful within God’s Plan of Salvation and not seldom brings even more darkness upon creation.

The Wounds of Jesus can heal the soul who truly believes and loves, of the negative influences of the setbacks of life (discouragement, affected faith, resistance to Divine Providence, bitterness, etc.). In her consecration to the Holy Wounds of Christ the soul expresses the wish to merge with the suffering Jesus, and she learns how to put into perspective all the clouds that are covering her own path through life, realizing these clouds can be transformed into Light that is able to make the blanket of clouds over creation as a whole lift up.

Each soul suffers by her own sins and faults, as well as by the dark influences of life to which she has not contributed actively or intentionally, but which have been provided for her or have been allowed for her sanctification by Divine Providence. This life on earth, however, is not a goal as such, it is merely a stepping stone towards Eternal Life. None of the millions of details of all events and situations of a human soul’s everyday life have got any value as such; this whole concatenation of elements and events which together build life as a whole, is nothing but the school Divine Providence wants the soul on earth to attend for this sole purpose: her sanctification, and Eternal Life in celestial bliss, and along with this the accomplishment of God’s Plan of Salvation for creation as a whole. Every human life in this world indeed derives its only sense from making an appropriate contribution to the accomplishment of God’s Plan, as well as from the soul’s own sanctification in order for her to be able to make this contribution at all. This is where the foundation for the third part of this consecration can be found:

3. The soul entrusts everything likely to prevent her entry into Eternal Bliss in Heaven to the Holy Cross of Christ.

The soul’s sanctification, in other words the disposition in which the soul is able to bring Salvation upon creation, is her key to Eternal Bliss in Heaven. The Cross of Christ is the symbol of the victory over anything that is likely to prevent the souls from entering Eternal Bliss. The Cross is God’s Sign denoting His victory over evil, over Satan and his works of death and perdition, and symbolizing the Redemption of the human souls.

Through this consecration the soul, in a manner of speaking, nails all influences threatening Her Eternal Life to the Cross, as a token of her longing for Redemption. This is how she will be able to help render all and any works of darkness in her life ineffective.

What is able to prevent the soul from entering Eternal Bliss in Heaven? Everything which pulls her away from God. The soul will stay truly connected to God as long as she keeps aiming sincerely, spontaneously and voluntarily at fulfilling His Law of Love in all and any situations of her life, and as long as she focuses every detail of her life on the accomplishment of His Works of Salvation for the whole of creation. In concrete terms this means that God expects each soul to aspire assiduously and perfectly unselfishly for the well-being of all her fellow creatures as well as for the accomplishment of God’s Plan of Salvation, in every detail of her day-to-day life. The soul can only bring her everyday life to maximum fruitfulness for God’s Plans and Works to the extent to which she consciously lives and experiences every situation as well as the inner dispositions from which she handles it. Living a situation truly consciously means taking it in and 'incorporating' it so deeply as if it were the only thing going on in one’s life. This attitude enables the soul to gain from any situation everything Divine Providence has deposited in it for her benefit, and to make full use of it for the perfection of her inner dispositions with a view to bringing true Love into blossom within her.

God’s Plan of Salvation aims at establishing God’s Kingdom on earth. Concretely this establishment means that true Love must come to life in as many souls as possible, which will devitalize the works of darkness in this world and enable the true Peace of Christ to rule the dispositions of all hearts.

Sin and all vices, as well as failing to do the right thing (meaning: not living up to the expectations God harbours towards the soul within the framework of her specific mission in life) pull the soul away from God’s Heart, in that through all this she fails to serve God’s Works and does serve the works of the darkness, thereby counteracting or postponing the establishment of God’s Kingdom on earth. Thereby the soul also helps to counteract or postpone her own entry into the Kingdom of Heaven. The soul can help devitalizing the effects of everything which can jeopardize her entry into Eternal Bliss after the present life by entrusting these influences and effects to the Saviour’s Cross and by making efforts so as to prevent these influences and effects from playing any part in her future life. In other words, the soul must aspire for a virtuous life.

Entering Eternal Bliss in Heaven is only open to the soul if she manages to incorporate the fullness of Love. Our journey through life on earth is essentially a journey of perfecting the experience and application of true Love. In Her Revelations and Teachings the Queen of Heaven points out that the soul can enter Heaven only as soon as her Love has become perfect, for the soul in whom imperfections are still at work would, in a manner of speaking, burn up in Heaven on account of the fact she would not be able to stand the perfect Love which rules the place. This means that every detail of imperfection in true Love must be compensated, shed off, 'expiated'. Divine Providence grants the soul a multitude of opportunities to do this during her life on earth. However, as the soul is also exposed to a multitude of dark influences in this world this means she is in for a tough struggle, which will not stop for one single moment and which can be won only to the extent to which the soul is ruled by the unwavering will to do nothing which is not compatible with God’s Plan of Salvation and with His Works of Love. This will is what we refer to as 'good will'. Mary defines 'good will' as follows:

"A soul of good will is a soul that tunes her free will fully in to God in order to have her actions, desires and thoughts merge as perfectly as possible with those of God Himself".

Each imperfection as to the disposition of true Love in the soul and in her will to convert this disposition into behaviour which is able to promote the well-being of every fellow creature (man or animal) that crosses her path through life, must be expiated during the soul’s life on earth. To the extent to which this is not the case the soul must complete this expiation in purgatory. Purgatory is a state of being provided by Divine Mercy in order to enable the soul, after her life on earth is completed, to compensate all imperfections of her life through suffering (the key factor to Redemption!). In purgatory the soul suffers in the 'fire' of remorse and of a deep and perfect awareness of her violations against Love and of what these violations have cost both God and her fellow creatures.

In the hour of her worldly death the soul appears before God, who then in a flash shows her a detailed film of her entire past life. During this 'show' the soul sees herself through God’s eyes. Thus she sees her own past life from the perspective of perfect Love, thereby suddenly becoming fully aware of what every one of her actions, omissions, words, thoughts, feelings and aspirations have meant concretely for God’s Plan of Salvation, for the well-being of each fellow creature she has been in contact with (even if only for a few moments), and for the state of grace of creation as a whole. The soul now sees every detail of her life, devoid of any human perspective but in the fullness of their Divine Mystery, devoid of any deception by the darkness but in the full Light of God’s Love and Wisdom. In the hour in which judgment is passed on her life the soul sees the consequences of all her doings and all her inner dispositions and aspirations for God’s Works to which she was expected to make her own personal contribution in every situation of her life. The soul’s finding out about the contrast between her own vision of the details of her past life on the one hand and God’s vision of them on the other hand, kindles within her the fire of remorse, which will then start to burn the effects of all her violations against true Love.

Remorse is heartache on account of the soul’s becoming aware of the things she has done to God and to her fellow creatures. Along with the newly acquired insight into the nature of God’s true Love this raises within the soul the ardent desire to make amends as well as a redeeming pain about her own imperfections and their consequences for God’s Plan of Salvation and for her own fellow creatures whose hearts have been hurt on account of these imperfections. Blessed the soul in whom this entire process is allowed to run its full course during her life on earth. To the extent to which the soul has failed to work up the courage, the will or Love to start this process of purification and expiation during her life on earth there is no other way for her but to see it through in purgatory, where the pains are even more intense due to the fact that, in the hour of her death, the soul has met God and His vision on her past life, and she has been granted the experience of perfect Love.

Like the Mistress of all souls demonstrated so emphatically in Her November Plan, forgiveness is one of the major keys to the soul’s Redemption. This is why the following sentence in prayer 1274 is so extremely important:

Oh Jesus, at the foot of the Cross I want to forgive all souls who have ever done me wrong.

"At the foot of the Cross" is more than a mere metaphorical expression. In the past few years the Queen of Heaven regularly referred to Mount Calvary as 'the mountain of sins'. Jesus’ Cross stood on top of the mountain of the debts accumulated by all mankind, so to speak, as a token of the victory of Redemption over the darkness, of Divine Life over the death of the souls due to sin. The soul’s life can be regarded as a way of the cross, consisting of the most various sufferings, but also as an uninterrupted climb on the mountain of her own imperfections in a constant attempt to overcome them. On the summit of this mountain lies the victory over the soul’s own darkness, and therefore her Redemption. During this climb the soul gets nearer and nearer to the crucified Christ, with whom she is supposed to merge in her heart and soul.

Day after day the soul is to again reach the foot of the Cross in her own heart, merged with the dispositions of the redeeming Christ, which consist of true self-denying Love and the prevailing will to serve God’s Plans and Works as well as the well-being of all creatures. This 'well-being' must not in the first place be understood to mean material wealth, but mainly the experience of emotional security in the true Love of God’s Presence.

At the foot of Jesus’ Cross the soul must bring herself to a perfect forgiveness towards all fellow creatures that have done her wrong in the course of her life, or that she feels have done her wrong. As long as the soul is not able to forgive from the bottom of her heart, the darkness brought about by the violation remains in effect. As soon as the soul forgives from the bottom of her heart the darkness in her life loses all of its power, and a door towards full Redemption opens up to the soul. In the soul who forgives wholeheartedly the darkness loses a major part of its nourishment. If all souls should wholeheartedly forgive all that has ever been done wrong to them, or which they feel has been done wrong to them, God’s Kingdom would really have risen on earth, for in that case the effects of all sin and vice in this world would have been rendered ineffective in all hearts. It is largely the lack of forgiveness which maintains Satan’s power over this world.

God forgives sins. Nevertheless He only considers this forgiveness to be fully accomplished as soon as the human soul wholeheartedly joins in extending this forgiveness. This attitude is no exception where God is concerned, it appears to be a fixed rule in the implementation of His Love: He wants the human soul to be actively involved in all His doings, in order that the Covenant may get its full effect. This Covenant was sealed by the crucified Jesus. Indeed, also Redemption must be completed by each individual soul voluntarily. Just like Christ’s Work of Redemption God forgiveness is a key which has got to be turned by the human soul for the effects to be able to fully run their course in creation. The soul will only be able to achieve all of this to the extent to which she manages to incorporate the graces implored in the final phrase of prayer nr. 1274:

Do forgive me, kindle within me
a lifelong unconditional Love,
and grant me the experience
of my lasting rebirth of Mary.

Do forgive me:

The soul must long to be forgiven, both by God and by her fellow creatures. By granting forgiveness the one who forgives allows the violation to submerge in the lake of Love. The violation is no longer regarded as something which hurts or harms. As long as this is still the case the violation – which, after all, was a work of darkness, as it was not something committed in accordance with God’s Law of Love – will go on developing its effects of darkness. Indeed, it is constantly nourished by feelings of 'being harmed'. As soon as forgiveness has been granted wholeheartedly, the one who grants it delivers himself from those effects, and in the process delivers the forgiven one from the effects of his debt upon his own soul, and he delivers creation from the darkness which oppresses it on account of a debt from a violation which has not been forgiven. Granting forgiveness is thereby always a victory over the darkness and a step towards the accomplishment of God’s Plan of Salvation.

If the soul is longing to be forgiven this means that, provided she does not do so for selfish reasons (for instance, so that she may no longer be labeled as 'the guilty one'), she is willing to reconcile with the one whom she has done wrong. Consequently, if this happens for the right reasons this expresses the soul’s being aware of the fact she is a bearer of guilt because she has hurt Love in God and/or in her fellow creature. As no soul ever leads a life without any sin, vice or omission towards God and towards her fellow creatures, each soul needs to be forgiven by God, for without forgiveness and without her longing to be forgiven she can not be delivered from debts, and the soul will be unable to enter Eternal Bliss in Heaven as long as she is a bearer of any guilt, even if the latter is minor.

Eternal Life in Heaven is essentially the reward for a life which has contributed in a concrete positive way to the achievement of God’s intentions with creation. As of the creation of the first human soul it was God’s intention that every soul should live in His Kingdom of perfect Love. On earth this Kingdom was shaken severely by the original sin. The original sin drew a furrow (a ditch, so to speak), through which Divine Life keeps oozing away from the soul instead of nourishing the latter to the fullest. The effects of this 'furrow' are compensated in each individual soul to the extent to which the soul aspires sincerely and persistently to live in perfect accordance with true Love and to settle her debts towards God voluntarily. This settlement can be done during the soul’s life on earth, or afterwards in purgatory. The extent to which the soul aspires to settle her debts while she is still on earth, bears witness to the extent of her Love: Settlement in purgatory is the 'settlement of the second chance', because the soul has accumulated a debt which she has not managed to settle completely, or because, during her life on earth, she has been too poorly motivated to subordinate her own needs and interests to God’s and to those of creation as a whole. Settlement of debts on earth is the fruit of an active longing to make amends, being aware that this act of making amends will inevitably go at the expense of the satisfaction of her own needs and interests. By settling her debts while she is still on earth the soul demonstrates the fact she regards God’s Plans and Works as more important than her own desires.

Kindle within me a lifelong unconditional Love:

Every soul is on earth for the purpose of making the contribution expected from her towards the accomplishment of God’s Plan of Salvation, and towards her own sanctification. Both of these missions in life influence each other constantly: The more efforts the soul makes to experience all situations of her everyday life, no matter how trivial these may be, in full virtue, the more fruitful her role within God’s Plan of Salvation is going to be. Inversely, each effort of the soul to be as fruitful as possible for the accomplishment of God’s Works and Plans, promotes her sanctification.

The queen – we may even say: the mother – of all virtues is Love. Every single virtue is in one way or another related to Love and is only experienced and applied to the extent to which the soul is willing to keep Love alive within herself. The Mistress of all souls likes to compare the virtues with a tree. Love is the trunk of this tree, the other virtues are the branches. This means that all virtues are nourished by Love. In order to make and keep a tree healthy it is not enough to purify the branches. The branches can only become and stay pure, strong and fruitful to the extent to which they are nourished from a strong and healthy trunk.

The great enemy of Love and the spontaneous, truly intentional and sincere implementation of Love, is the world with all its ways of thinking and all its opinions which in any possible way pull the souls away from God and from their true vocation in life, and which even try to make the existence of God sound as a thing lacking all credibility. This is why every human soul’s Love is, to a certain extent, stained and poisoned, and in an ever increasing amount of souls Love is irrevocably in agony. Today’s world pushes souls towards dispositions which motivate them to live from an analytical and searching mind. God and His Works, however, as well as the true role of every creature on earth, can not be thoroughly fathomed with a rational mind, they can only be sensed, for any connection between the soul and her Creator is brought about solely through the heart, not through the mind.

In order to be able to fruitfully accomplish her actual mission in life, the soul must therefore incessantly aspire for a maximum bloom in the experience and application of true Love, and to that end she must make full use of every situation Divine Providence brings on her path through life as a lesson and a source of perfection. The soul cannot do anything without God, for He is the Source of her everyday nourishment, her Power Supply, the Giver and Maintainer of her life and the (often concealed) Channel of her guidance through the situations of life. Love is the essence of God’s Being and of Divine Life. The soul only truly lives (i.e.: thinks, feels and reflects with the heart focused on God and His Works and interests) to the extent to which she has incorporated unselfish, unconditional Love into her own inner dispositions, to the extent to which she aims at bringing these dispositions into blossom in her life, and at spreading them around her in all and any details of her life.

In prayer 1274 the soul implores that Jesus might kindle in her a lifelong unconditional Love. Love is only fruitful for the accomplishment of the soul’s mission in life to the extent to which the soul loves God and her fellow creatures in a way free from selfish motives and without any conditions. The soul that truly loves, gives her Love without expecting anything in return, for she knows she can only expect everything from God; the world has not got to offer anything that would be able to nourish or to maintain true Life.

It is important that the soul should not ask Jesus 'give me Love', but 'kindle Love within me'. The soul will become fruitful only as soon as she stops being a passive party by expecting that God will automatically arrange things for her. When imploring 'Kindle within me a lifelong and unconditional Love', she basically requests for God’s assistance so as to be able to develop the suitable disposition enabling her to maintain an adequate experience of true Love any time. This grace is bestowed upon every soul day after day, yet the soul can only make the best of this grace if she spontaneously, voluntarily and sincerely longs for a steady growth and bloom of her ability to love unconditionally under any circumstances. Through this petition she confirms towards God her desire to live after His image in the deepest sense of the word and thus to let herself be thoroughly pervaded with His 'frame of Heart', which is necessary to reach a perfect fruitfulness within the framework of God’s Plan of Salvation.

Grant me the experience of my lasting rebirth of Mary:

The soul who puts herself completely at Mary’s service, as is the case in a life of sincerely applied consecration of one’s entire life and one’s entire being to Mary, allows herself to be immersed unrestrictedly in the dispositions of the only human soul ever to have spent every single moment of her life in absolutely perfect sanctity. The Queen of Heaven considers it to be Her duty to give birth on an increasingly higher level of Divine Life, so to speak, to each soul who surrenders to Her completely, in other words: who puts all details of her life, all her doings and all her inner dispositions, desires, thoughts and feelings completely at God’s service in close unity with Mary. She already pointed to this situation containing a hidden aspect of that which Jesus called "being born again of the Spirit": Mary is the Bride of the Holy Spirit; God’s Spirit can pour Himself out into the soul through Mary. This is another meaning of Mary’s being the Mother of every human soul, and in this capacity She is able to pass (Divine) Life on to every soul.

A lifelong rebirth of Mary is not a one-off event, it is a process which must keep repeating itself in a soul who aspires persistently for an ever growing sanctity. True sanctity is characterized by a persevering will to come nearer and nearer to God. The soul who implores it, thereby confesses both her desire for a constant bloom and her being aware of her own lack of perfection. Without God’s grace no soul is able to see the process of sanctification through, since the temptations from the world (which is constantly trying to pull her away from God) are innumerable and tremendously powerful.

The Mistress of all souls emphatically points out that Satan’s power over a soul is but as big as this soul’s weakness. A soul’s weakness is determined by the power she holds over her own needs. Day after day the world is creating new needs which greatly surpass the absolute necessities of life. The less the soul manages to resist the temptations the influences from the world may call to life in her body, mind and heart, the weaker she is. Sanctification is a process through which the soul exercises herself voluntarily, intentionally and persistently in making her power over the worldly temptations grow bigger than the power emanating from these temptations, so that the latter are no longer able to pull her away from God nor to make the 'soil' of the soul unfruitful as to the incorporation and bloom of God’s grace.

A lasting rebirth of Mary is a process of increasingly intense consecration. Perfect consecration is a state of living in which the soul has made it her goal in life to ever more deeply belong to the Queen of Heaven and thereby basically to live for nothing but the promotion of God’s Works. This understanding makes it clear why total consecration to Mary is the golden path to God. Jesus meant also this when, while hanging on the Cross, He entrusted Mary to all human souls, and all human souls to Mary ("Woman, behold Your son; son, behold your Mother"). On Mount Golgotha the Mother of God became the Mother of all men, so as to contribute to every one of them being born again of the Spirit, and in order that the souls might go on the perfect path towards God through Her.

Final reflection

The prayer of total surrender to the crucified Jesus is a treasury of graces. Total surrender is tantamount to "making one’s will merge with the will of the one to whom one entrusts oneself". If the soul does so truly sincerely and unconditionally, she performs the greatest act of heroism God could ever expect a soul to perform. Every creature has got a free will from God. This free will is inviolable in God’s eyes. To God it is important that the soul should be able to opt freely, under all circumstances of her life, for the way in which she reacts to all situations. Only to the extent to which this condition is fulfilled will God be able to judge all of the soul’s doings, words, thoughts, feelings and aspirations as to the voluntary accordance thereof with His own intentions. A soul that would act under constraint, may indeed obey, yet she does not necessarily act out of Love. However, Love is the great standard of spiritual fruitfulness.

Total surrender is the essence of total consecration. Thereby the soul confesses towards the one to whom she surrenders, that she is willing to put herself completely and unconditionally at the service of God’s Plans and Works, with all her being and all details of her life. As of her total surrender the soul is then made part of the accomplishment of God’s Works intentionally and voluntarily. Total surrender to the crucified Jesus is a total consecration to God in the shape of the suffering Man-God, and is therefore understood by God to be a confession of the soul’s willingness to actively serve His Plan of Salvation through all trials on her path through life. A life in total surrender to the Crucified Christ through the Mistress and Co-Redemptrix of the human souls is tantamount to striving for a merger with Christ in the very core of the Plan of Redemption, and thereby to an active participation in the accomplishment of the Works of Redemption.

There is nothing that makes a human life more fruitful and greater in God’s eyes than the soul’s total consecration to Mary with a view to achieving the merger with the suffering and redeeming Christ. This is exactly why, in Her Science of Divine Life, the Mistress of all souls, emphasizes the tremendous value of suffering for the soul’s sanctification. No soul is able to reach the perfection God provides for the souls without a voluntary, unresisting and loving surrender to the crosses of life while being fully aware of the fact these crosses make the soul one with Christ. This awareness sows the Peace of Christ into the soul: the experience of 'having come home' in God’s Heart.

The Mistress of all souls knows how much Light prayer 1274 calls down upon creation as well as upon the praying soul if it is offered to Her and to the Crucified Christ in deep faith, sincere Love and a genuine longing. If this is done on Good Friday and Holy Saturday the soul merges even more completely with the Saviour and the Co-Redemptrix for the establishment of God’s Kingdom within the hearts. If the prayer is said 33 times consecutively the soul unites symbolically with the Life of the Man-God on earth, who lived among us for thirty-three years. All these symbols exceed the level of sheer metaphorical language, They contain Divine Mysteries, which the Creator hides in souls who will be able to open these Mysteries up through the power of genuine Love as treasures which are not meant for worldly eyes, yet turn into everlasting delights for the soul who is willing to look beyond the twilight of her worldly existence.

For the Mistress of all souls,
