TOTUS TUUS, MARIA !

TESTING ONE’S OWN FAITH

Revelation by the Mistress of all souls of August 24, 2020

to Myriam van Nazareth

"Verily I say that I can see a great many Christians who are not in the actual sense of the word faithful or believing. This is why I will now give the souls seven criteria by which they can find out to what degree they are truly faithful. I invite each soul who read this guideline to consider themselves to be addressed by Me personally, and to answer the seven questions for themselves in complete honesty, for the answers may enhance their self knowledge to a very large extent. Without a thorough self knowledge no Eternal Life is possible, as only knowing oneself can lead the soul towards a truly fruitful life:

  1. Are your actions, words, thoughts and desires in all, or at least in many, details of life oriented first and foremost to the opinion fellow people may have about you, or may express about you, or are your entire behaviour and all your inner dispositions oriented totally to God Himself and the opinion He may have about you? In the first case your predominant drive is fear of your fellow man’s judgment. A soul that possesses true faith will orient her entire behaviour and all her inner life fully to serving God and will regard any human opinion as completely subordinate. Not fellow people’s opinions but only God’s opinion is what matters where the soul’s eternal destiny is concerned;
  2. Is every moment of your life driven by the aspiration to achieve your own views and expectations, or do you see to it that every detail serves the accomplishment of the intentions God pursues for the benefit of all creation? In the first case there is no true faith, for the soul who truly believes in God lives totally for the accomplishment of His Works and Plans, being firmly convinced these are infinitely more important than her own views and expectations, and being firmly convinced that every human soul is on earth but for this only purpose: to help accomplish God’s Works and Plans and thereby help establish God’s Kingdom of Love, Peace, happiness and Justice within and between all creatures on earth;
  3. Do you experience each moment of your life in a complete awareness and understanding of your entire behaviour and of the inner dispositions in which this behaviour finds its origins, or do you live mechanically, devoid of feelings, without searching yourself as to the reasons why you do or omit to do things? In the last case you show a lack of faith in God. A soul who actually orients her life to God’s interests and needs, constantly lives in full awareness of all her doings, of the inner dispositions that are alive inside of her, and of the consequences her actions and omissions may have as to accomplishing, or inversely slowing down or counteracting God’s Works and Plans;
  4. Do you attend Holy Mass because the Church prescribes it as an obligation and so as to be allowed by God to enter Eternal Bliss, or do you do so driven by the desire to comfort, to love and to honour Jesus in the commemoration of His Sacrifice of the Cross? In the first case there is no true faith but rather selfishness and empty fulfilment of duty, expecting this to be sufficient for God to grant you Eternal Life. Attending Holy Mass is only fruitful, and therefore only fit as a contribution to earning Eternal Bliss, if it occurs in totally unselfish true Love for God and His Works without even thinking about any possible reward God might associate with it. True Love is the only key that is able to guarantee a soul access to Heaven. Do realize that the spontaneous experience and practice of unconditional self-denying Love also demonstrates a genuine faith in God and in the value and infallibility of His Works and Plans;
  5. When receiving the Sacrament of Confession, do you fully overtly and honestly express each and every action, omission, word, thought, feeling and desire which you have found out not to be in accordance with God’s Law of true Love?
    The extent to which you hide things or refrain from expressing them in full honesty to the priest because you are ashamed of them, indicates the extent to which true faith is lacking. A soul who truly believes knows that God has seen, heard and felt everything, and considers the pain she has caused God to be infinitely more important than any opinion the priest might harbour about her on account of her Confession. A truly faithful soul regards the Sacrament of Confession as a means to spontaneously show sincere Love to God. A soul who goes to Confession first and foremost with the intention of being delivered from debts which may cost her Eternal Bliss lacks true faith as well as true Love. This soul displays selfishness and abuses the infinitely great gift of His Mercy. She does not show sincere remorse nor any sincere desire not to hurt God (any more) by violating the Law of true Love.
  6. Are you, in all or at least in the majority of situations of your life, inclined to opt in favour of satisfying material interests and of satisfying worldly, transitory needs, views and expectations and of the image you want to present of yourself to your fellow people, or will you first and foremost opt in favour of satisfying God’s interests and the non material interests concerning your spiritual salvation, the needs of the soul? In the first scenario there is no true faith in God, in His Works, in His promises, nor in the fact that the fullness of reality goes way beyond the few elements human senses are able to perceive and human intellect is able to grasp and explain through reasoning.
  7. Each human soul has but one purpose and one goal: to yield raw materials for the construction of God’s Kingdom on earth. This construction is done using bricks and cement which consist of practiced true Love, intensely and unconditionally practiced obedience to God’s Decrees and expectations, acceptance of all dispositions of His Providence, sincerely accepted and lovingly born trials, and by making use of all situations of life to opt with determination in favour of Works of Light and Love instead of giving in to temptations of darkness which give rise to misery, suffering and injustice. Do you feel inclined to give up the battle for the accomplishment of God’s Kingdom on earth by not accepting the trials, protesting against them, or not bearing them with Love nor with a sincere desire that, through living them with true Love, they may be useful for generating raw materials that are suitable for the construction of God’s Kingdom on earth? Whoever does not bear the trials of life on a foundation of dispositions that reflect those harboured by Jesus Christ Himself is lacking in true faith.

May each soul regard the whole of these seven criteria as a means serving a thorough examination of the degree to which her faith is real, and also be very well aware of the fact any insincerity in answering these seven questions must be regarded as a trap set by the darkness so as to lead her away from the path to true liberation".
